A major illegal parking operation, generating millions of rupees annually, was uncovered at the NADRA Zonal Office in Sialkot. The scam, which was being run from the building’s basement, was exposed by a NADRA intelligence officer. Preliminary findings indicate that the Zonal Assistant Director, AD Zeeshan Ahmed, was allegedly operating the illegal parking racket in collusion with the building owner, earning millions of rupees in illicit income each year.
Following the revelation, NADRA Chairman has ordered an immediate departmental inquiry. AD Zeeshan Ahmed has been removed from his position and an inquiry commission has been established to investigate the matter thoroughly.
In response to this incident, the Chairman has issued a directive to immediately cease all illegal parking operations outside NADRA offices nationwide. This action is part of a broader effort to ensure transparency and uphold the law across all NADRA facilities.
