ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has spent about 19 billion rupees on provision of basic facilities in schools during the current financial year.
According to a report quoting official sources, over one thousand Information Technology (IT) laboratories have been set up, playgrounds have been developed in two thousand and five hundred schools and furniture has also been provided.
Another two billion rupees will be utilized for ensuring facilities in schools in the province by June this year.
