ISLAMABAD: Social media agency AlphaPro has announced to conduct a “Social Media Summit’ on March 17 in Islamabad.
According to a statement issued by the agency, almost 350 social media activists from all over the country will attend the event. They will share their success stories and speak on different issues regarding the role of social media in Pakistan.
“The Social Media Summit 2018 will be a platform for social media experts to engage and find opportunities for the growth of community to bring about positive change in the society through social media activism,” the statement added.
Deputy Chief Mission (DCM) of Peoples Republic of China Mr Lijian Zhao will be the chief guest of the event.
Moreover, officials from Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA), Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Ministry of Information (Cyber Wing), Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) and a number of renowned digital and social media activists including Dr. Moeed Pirzada, Jan Achakzai, Mashal Malik, Ahmad Qureshi and Mahrukh Fahad Qureshi are also invited in the summit.
